And hey, it seems to work.
At this point, while they're woohooing, the game crashes, and so there's a few hours in real life of faffing around to quickly get Colette and escape France before it consumes my game. Whoops.
All good in the end though. Colette Webb nee Bonnet and Robert after such a whirlwind romance and marriage in France are deeply in love.
And it doesn't take long for the results of said romance to become visible. Gotta get started on those five children you want, Robert!
Dawn doesn't care though. She's too busy raking leaves then playing in them. Yay autumn!
I agree Ilia, the kids channel is terrifying.
Colette is a Bookworm, and so very quickly is reading through the pregnancy books. Gotta know what to expect! For those who are curious, her traits are Bookworm, Neat, Ambitious, Frugal and Natural Cook.
But, unfortunately, things are due to happen...
Ayden, at the age of "98" (he's a vampire, so likely a few hundred older than that) passes away.
He's had a good life. His children both vampiric and witchy are happy. And he had good twilight years with Arachne. So he's okay with passing.
Arachne though...
She went to mourn, and then started raking away the leaves from Ayden's gravestone.
Who needs sleep, Ayden needs a clean gravestone and well curated grave.
Torgny is a little confused and very upset. His first witnessing of death, and his chips don't seem to be telling him how to react.
Dawn is working through it by going to her new Plumbot Emporium and making sure Barry, the attendant, is in good condition.
Poor Ilia. She didn't want to be sleeping next to Arachne on the bed so soon...
Robert spends the morning talking to his half-sister, Emilie. Both are devastated.
But, from death springs life. .And Colette is due to give birth the morning after Ayden's death.
Meet Gabriel, Melodie, and Angele. Angele and Gabriel are both witches, Melodie is a human.
Arachne is struggling with Ayden's death. But then, a few hours after the triplets are born...
At least she will be joining Ayden...
Colette was cooking dinner when Arachne passed away, so of course a fire starts!
"Is coo'. We'll replace this oven, it'll be fine. I'd better call Era, let her know..."
"You saw the fire? Yeah it's no problem, was just the oven. Colette - Robert's wife, y'know? She left something on the hob when Grim came and took mum.
Wait, should I have started with that?"
Later that evening, Dawn starts cheering about screaming babies. Hooray!
Oh wait, that's not cheering about babies, that's a birthday.
Time Travel makes Dawn the oldest of the siblings now.
I forgot to take a picture, but at this point Dawn is caring for the triplets because Robert and Colette are working on a fourth child at the hospital - Genetic Engineering, the future! They bring back a 4th child, Catherine, who is a Light Sleeper and Insane human. Hmm, maybe Genetic Engineering needs some improvement...

Oh crud. Guess I don't have to kick her out now, though we've only got 4 kids.
Robert is not having a good few days. None of the family are having a good past few days.
At least Colette is okay with death. Robert very carefully buries her next to his parents.
Ayden, Arachne, and Colette. Three deaths over 30 hours of ingame time.
And four babies. Generation Three has been born, and tragedy has struck the Webb family the night before Spooky Day.
